For severely handicapped children, give the DEM a list of all of your child’s diagnoses as soon as possible.

Learning Project

If your child has special needs preventing you from covering some of the required subjects, explain your situation in your project and request an exemption as per article 8 of the regulation.

If you need services from the school board, don’t hesitate to add details to your project to explain your situation.

Status Report

If you need services from the school board and are having difficulty obtaining them, do not hesitate to include details explaining your situation in the status report. 

Monitoring Meeting

If you need services from the school board and are having difficulty obtaining them, do not hesitate to bring it up during the meeting with the Minister's representative.
