Fundraising Campaign NO to Mandatory Ministry Exams

AQED is not opposed to children being assessed; quite the contrary. However, it does not want them to be forced to be assessed by ministerial exams. It should be noted that parent educators are already required to choose from five modes of evaluation at the end of the year, as set out in the Homeschooling Regulation

Despite AQED’s many efforts to engage the Minister, he has remained silent and has refused to intervene. AQED has therefore been forced to file a request for a safeguard order in Superior Court to avoid imminent negative impacts on homeschooling families. The Government of Quebec has declined the possibility of mediation, once again closing the door to dialogue with Quebec’s homeschooling families. Our request will therefore be challenged in court. We are asking for your support to help us fight this battle!
