Notice of AQED’s Annual General Meeting
AQED invites all its members to its annual general meeting, which will be held on June 27, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., via zoom.
In addition to being the decision-making body of its members, this meeting is an opportunity to learn about the association’s financial results, its achievements and projects planned for the coming year. The members present will have the opportunity to vote for open positions on AQED’s Board of Directors. This year, 4 positions will be up for election, and 2 observer positions will be available. Please find attached the minutes from the previous meetings that need to be approved.

Would you like to get involved? What is it like to be a member on AQED’s Board of Directors?
It can be intimidating to be on the board of directors. At AQED, it’s done in a friendly manner, taking into account everyone’s schedule and circumstance.
Sitting on the associations board of directors involves:
- A monthly meeting of about 2 hours (Summer break)
- One or two work days per year (in person if possible)
- Being head of a committee at AQED. Involvement in the committee is up to you, but at the very least, we expect you to be able to relay decisions from the Board to the relevant volunteers and vice versa.
- Act as a spokesperson for AQED on social networks.
- Spread the word about homeschooling!
