Regional Representatitives

Support Across the Province

AQED has representatives in most regions of Quebec. These volunteers are familiar with the specific issues facing homeschoolers in their area.
Whether you new to homeschooling or you’re an experienced family, the Regional Representatives (RRs) are there for you.

Their Role

A regional representative (RR) is first and foremost a parent volunteer who has chosen to offer their time and energy to help AQED reach families, wherever they live in Quebec. Each RR adjusts their role according to the needs of their regiontheir abilities and their interests. Your RR can :

  • Accompany you in taking your first steps toward homeschooling, joining a regional support group or helping you deal with challenges that may arise
  • Pass on news from AQED in their region and organize meetups with AQED members
  • Defend and support your right as a parent to educate your children in the way you prefer, while ensuring that your children’s right to a healthy and balanced education is protected
  • Raise awareness and inform the public about the right of parents to choose to educate their children at home
  • Provide you with access to educational materials (mobile hands-on material) from AQED.

Mobile Hands-On Material

AQED provides its members with hands-on material to make learning more practical.
To date, 16 different sets travel from region to region.

The members of AQED can borrow this equipment by signing a loan agreement and/or paying a deposit

Contact your Regional Representative to find out more about the resources available in your region.
