Legal support

AQED offers members the most affordable and the most knowledgable services in Quebec’s civil legal system. (Quebec is the only province to use the civil system; lawyers licensed in other provinces are trained in the common law system.)

    Access the website section reserved for members only, filled with tools and resources to support you in your homeschooling (available in fall 2018) and access the AQED members' Facebook group. The content is currently mostly in French, but feel free to post questions in English. We will answer you in English.

    We offer information to the general population and parent support services for all Quebec families.

  • Community

    AQED fosters a dynamic community with its anglophone and francophone Facebook groups which are open to non-members and members alike.

  • Conferences and information sessions

    Training for all families is available at our conferences and information sessions.

  • Lobbying

    AQED represents the interests of homeschooling families before the Minister of Education and Higher Education, as well as to the Minister of Health and Social Services.

  • Public relations

    AQED represents and demystifies the homeschooling community to school boards, youth protection services, in court cases and conferences on education, in the media, and at fairs and expositions.
